Cal Wick hatte die Teilnehmer einer Konferenz-Session in Denver gebeten, ihm Beispiele für informelle Lernaktivitäten via Twitter zu schicken, die sie im Rahmen der Konferenz erlebt haben. Diese Beispiele hat er ausgewertet. Interessant ist z.B. die “70-20 Learning Activation Matrix^TM”, die er zur Systematisierung genutzt hat. Und folgende Beobachtung, die auf die Verbindung zwischen formalen und informellen Prozessen hinweist:
