Eigentlich haben die Dinge, die Jane Hart anpackt, Hand und Fuß. Bei ihrem neuesten Projekt, oder vielleicht besser: Experiment, kann ich jedoch noch nicht erkennen, wo es hingehört: “Share&Learn is a brand new type of learning platform. It is a collaboration platform where members can share links, resources, ideas, experiences, tips, etc about the use of learning and performance trends, technologies and tools, and learn from one another – both informally and formally!”

Weiter schreibt Jane Hart: “It is a fundamentally different platform in that formal learning is embedded within an (informal) collaboration platform – not the other way round!” Doch gerade dieser Punkt erschließt sich nicht auf den ersten Blick. Und meine Mitgliedsanfrage für die Gruppe “How to run a formal course on Share&Learn” wartet noch auf die Bestätigung. Da hilft nur: Selbst ein Bild machen.

Im Januar fand in Sausalito (Kalifornien) der DGREE Summit statt. Das Motto: “Envisioning the Future of Higher Education”. Präsentiert hat auch Tim O’Reilly und zwar seine Idee von “Education as a Platform”. Dafür nimmt er einen kurzen Anlauf, präsentiert Government 2.0, um dann aber noch zielsicher bei der Bildung zu landen: “How can this work for education? Change the mission from delivering courses to creating services that help teachers build and deliver learning opportunities. Open standards breed innovation.” Zehn Minuten mit dem Vater des Web 2.0.
